Scaffolds must be inspected before they are used and confirmed in the initial inspection report or in a handover certificate.

Scaffolds must be inspected every 7 days. Scaffolds must be inspected following events which could affect the safety of the structure, e.g. alterations or adverse weather.

This includes checking the scaffold in conjunction with TG20:21 or Specific designs along with your compliance sheet and/or scaffold design, ensuring that the scaffold is safe in accordance with the specifications and working at height regulations 2005.
