Agricultural
Agriculture is vastly becoming the most dangerous industry now that the injury and death rates have declined massively over the past 10-20 years in construction, due to the tight regulations of CDM 2015. Safetywise Consultancy can help in producing all you relevant documentation and providing the right up to date information in accordance with the Health and Safety at work etc Act 1974 and other relevant legislation and approved codes of practice (ACOPs).
We can carry out an audit on your farm at the very first stages, this will show you where your short falls are in relation with the Health and Safety at work etc Act 1974, thereafter we can look into the more specific farm operations to ensure that you have all the correct collective safety procedures in place to ensure that you are completing your legal duty as far as reasonably practicable.
Forestry and Countryside management
Safetywise Consultancy Ltd, can assist you in the mind field of law and legislation that surrounds the more complex of countryside works.
Whether this includes general Arborist work or a more complex wood processing operations we are here to help you in ensuring you are doing what is required by law. Along with the Forestry work, we can also assist in larger jobs and projects that may involve multiple different types of operations.
If your are involved in the pre-construction phases of a construction site, you will need to ensure you also follow under the CDM Regulations 2015, these operations may include, tree felling, vegetation removal, newt fencing, excavations etc…, this means that you will be required to produce sets of RAMs, these are Risk Assessments and Method Statements and with this you will need to prove your employees skills and training along with much more and this is where we are here to help to ensure that you have the time to do the work you want to do while we sort all your H&S compliance needs.
Operations not related to the construction industry, these operations may include; excavations, verge cutting, tree felling, working near waterways, railways and roads, use of strimmer’s, chainsaws etc, working at height etc… It is still vital you follow the same sort of procedures as many of your commercial clients may still want this information and if an accident or incident were to happen, then this will help in proving that you as an employer were doing everything that was necessary in ensuring your employee health and safety at work.
